Milenge Milenge, Bollywood Movie (2010)

Summary: Priya Malhotra (Kareena Kapoor) is an orphan who hopes to have a family of her own and keeps a diary outlining her dreams and the type of man she wants to meet – someone who does not drink, smoke or tell lies. She is skeptical when her friend Honey's (Delnaaz Paul) aunt, a card reader, Sunita Rao (Kirron Kher), predicts that she will go to a foreign land and find the love of her life in seven days. She is pleasantly surprised when she is selected to go to a Youth Festival in Bangkok. That is where Amit (Shahid Kapoor) is seen, a young drunkard, chain smoker and a foolproof liar, a guy Priya would not like. One night, when Priya is asleep, Amit is being chased and accidentally runs into Priya's room, where he sees her and falls in love. He takes her diary, reads it, copies it, and then replace it. He pretends to be the total guy Priya wants to be with, but when she finds out how Amit really is, they both break-up, and Priya leaves Bangkok to Delhi.

I Am Slave, Hollywood Movie (2010)

Summary: Based on the real-life experiences of Mende Nazer,the story unfolds as twelve-year-old Malia,daughter of champion wrestler Bah,is abducted from her Sudanese village in the Nubar Mountains by pro-government Arab militia and sold into slavery to a woman in Khartoum,who beats her for touching her daughter. After six years she is sent to London,where her name is changed,but her miserable life of servitude continues. Her passport is taken and she is told that her father will die if she goes to the authorities. Fortunately she meets a sympathetic person who seems to offer her the hope of escape and reunion with Bah,back in Sudan. For all the film's optimism an end title states that there are around 5,000 'slave' workers currently in Britain.

Raavan, Bollywood Movie (2010)

Synopsis: A man who comes across as evil and menacing can be godly in reality, if watched closely and vice versa. Deception rules and dominates the world. Although, once the truth unravels, bad starts seeming good as in the case of Beera (Abhishek Bachchan). Beera hides in the dense forests of north India from where he orchestrates his criminal activities against the police, a la Veerappan. He ruthlessly kills the policemen and loots their weaponry. Going by Beera's sharp hunting skills and knowledge of the jungle, even the police is now scared of the dangerous outlaw except for SP Dev (Vikram). Right after being posted to Lal Maati, Dev finds his wife Ragini (Aishwarya Rai Bachchan) caught in Beera's clutches as he kidnaps her and takes her to the jungle where he resides. Turns out Beera has been meaning to settle a personal score with the police for a long time. Dev takes the help of a funny forest guard (Govinda) in order to get back his wife. Ragini on the other hand oblivious to Beera's power, does every thing possible to escape her nightmare.

Description: It's not exactly shocking or path-breaking, the story about a man falling for his brother's fiancée—over 20 years ago, there was the sensitively made Panchvati had the same plot, only Onir's Sorry Bhai is light (not enough) and shallow (very). Siddharath (Sharman Joshi) is supposed to be a scientist, who is working on a project to "make a toy dog fly" and seeking a grant for that. Could anyone take a man like that seriously? His redeeming feature is that he plays the saxophone and has all the time in the world, when his older brother Harsh (Sanjay Suri) is a busy stock broker in Mauritius (which is a pretty location, but hardly such a major financial hub!)

Ru-Ba-Ru, Bollywood Movie (2008)

Description: Bangkok-based Tara Mishra and Nikhil Singh meet at a wedding ceremony and fall instantly in love with love with each. They move in together and continue to live a fairly blissful lifestyle until Tara is invited to India to attend a wedding. Nikhil not only refuses to accompany her but also refuses to introduce his widowed mother, Meera, who is now living with another male, Dilip, to her. Tara, a talented singer/dancer, feels neglected as he is always focused on his business, is not prepared to make any long-time commitment, and forgets important events. An encounter with a taxi-driver compels Nikhil to change his mind, but things do no work out, Tara leaves him and shortly thereafter passes away in an accident. A devastated and guilt-ridding Nikhil returns home, cradling her photo and falls asleep. He wakes up the next morning with Tara alive and well next to him. Was he hallucinating the events from the previous day or was he being warned by fate to change his ways?

Channa Sachi Muchi, Punjabi Movie (2010)

Synopsis: A true love story that originated during 1947 partition of subcontinent revolves around a girl named Pooja(Saima)who is Hindu by descend and a Muslim boy named Bao(Moamar Rana). The story of the movie takes an interesting turn when Bao succeeds in winning Pooja's heart in comparison to Sooria(Babar Ali) who is Pooja fiancé, similarly Lajo(Hina Shaheen)who is engaged to Bao is also eagerly waiting for the love of her life.
